Our Mission
Little Seeds Matter (LSM) provides whole-child early learning programs that integrate literacy, social-emotional development, health, and wellness for young children (ages 0–8) and their families. Our services include family engagement workshops, early learning resource kits, parent education, and school-readiness programs aligned with California early learning standards. We also partner with schools and community organizations to provide hands-on learning activities, health-focused literacy experiences, and prevention-focused enrichment programs that support healthy habits, self-regulation, and positive development.
Our Core Values
We are Planting S.E.E.D.S. to achieve:
S – Strength through Empowerment: We believe families have the inherent power to create positive change in their lives and communities.
E – Equity: We are dedicated to addressing the unique needs of under-resourced communities and working to eliminate health disparities.
E – Engagement through Collaboration: We actively seek partnerships with CBO’s, schools, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to amplify our impact and extend our reach.
D – Discovery and Innovation: We actively seek out new, creative solutions to promote health, wellness, and education among families with young children.
S – Supportive Family-Centeredness: We prioritize the needs and well-being of families to foster healthy learning environments and promote healthy habits.
Our Vision
We aspire to a future where every family has access to the resources, support, and opportunities necessary for their success. Our goal is to foster environments where children can grow up nurtured by prioritizing their physical, emotional, mental well-being, and educational development. Through collaboration with families, communities, and partners, we are committed to building a brighter, healthier future for generations to come.
